STEP-I:
Login to your Facebook Account

STEP-II:
Go to Account Settings


STEP-III:
In the Security Settings, you can find an option like Deactivate your Account


STEP-IV:
After clicking on that option, you will be directed to a page where you are asked the reason for deactivation

STEP-V:
Check the appropriate reason and click Confirm


STEP-VI:


You will be asked to type your password to confirm the deactivation. Type in the correct password and click on Deactivate Now.


That's it. Your account will be deactivated.

NOTE: Your Account will only be deactivated not deleted by following the above steps. You can again reactivate your account any time you want by logging in with your appropriate Username & Password
